What Is My Purpose?

It has been a while since I have updated my blog. So…here is what is new in my life.

What I have done is started the process of creating a powerful life that I love. Since I believe that all people can accomplish this…I have taken the path of transformational coaching. What I have realized is that if I can achieve this extraordinary way of being…everyone can!

What I am committed to is that you too can live a life that you love…and…I will be honored to assist you in this venture. Together with my training, intuition and healing methods…you will find the inspiration and confidence to achieve your dreams.

Below…is still my vision for the near future…this will be the first in many projects for my I Am series…

Why Do I Want To Create This Vision?

I know I must be clear with this question before I go forth with this journey.

And, what is clear to me is that to find the answer to this question is a vital part of my most recent and most powerful transformation.

This vision was presented to me many years ago on a road trip to New Orleans, Louisiana from Houston, Texas. I t was a slightly different version of what I am now working on, yet, the message and the deep sense of urgency to produce this vision were the same.

During this particular road trip, in my mind, a book unfolded before me. On the pages were black and white photographs of women, some I knew and some I’ve yet to meet. Why black and white portraits? My answer to this question is that I believe that black and white photography captures the soul and the true essence of the person being photographed.

I knew in some way, I was meant to celebrate these women for the extraordinary beings that they are. What I was unsure of was what was the reason I was to celebrate these women for.

Was I to celebrate them for their spiritual beliefs and why these beliefs made them special? Was I to celebrate them for what their contributions are to society, to community or to their families? For being extraordinary where others may see them as ordinary?

My revelation finally presented itself at a women’s luncheon I attended in Houston, Texas. At this particular luncheon, women were being honored for the contributions they make in their community. Although the honoree sitting at our table was extraordinary in what she contributed for her community, what inspired me was the fun and play she included in her life. A beautiful, sophisticated woman in her fifties and she was clowning on the side. She gave herself permission to remain young and vibrant. Then it hit me, she truly believes herself to be young and most important, and she truly believes herself to be ageless.

This observation was the catalyst to my vision and to my intention.

I took a look at myself and realized how I am not attached to my age. As a matter of fact, I tend to believe that I am much younger than I actually am. I certainly act like it! I have been fortunate to have always been able to relate and identify with people of all ages. I consider myself to be “ageless”. After observing many women my age and older I have become acquainted with, I realize they too live in the same realm of agelessness that I do.

What an awesome observation! These women are considered mature and successful yet they are incredibly playful, young girls at heart. I consider them my playmates.

Eureka!!! That’s It!!!

I believe that too many times women, especially women over forty, believe there is a certain way they should be perceived by their families, their communities and by society as a whole. A certain way to look, to act and to feel. Too many times, this emotionally and physically ages them beyond their years.

My mission with this book is to enroll the world in my awareness that women over forty years of age are powerful, beautiful, extraordinary, and sexy and, my favorite, ageless.

I intend to engage you, the reader, in celebration with me of the youth, courage, power and beauty of the ageless women in this book as well as the ageless women in your realm of the everyday life.

You may wonder who I am to create such a vision.

I am an ageless woman of 47 years. In the course of my life, I have had my ups and I have certainly had more downs than I feel a woman has a right to. Starting in February of 2007, I made an intention to will and create my current transformation. I made the decision to release my then present state of powerlessness and made the choice to embark on the journey of embracing my power, however frightening this may seem to me. I am currently on my journey of walking through my fears and romancing risk. A journey to embrace Life! To be Alive!

My mission is to celebrate and empower all women of all ages and to create different projects and events to manifest this intention.

I offer an invitation for you to join me in these celebrations.
